Once upon a time the Prince Stewart, Heir to the throne of Elthornia was riding through the dark forest. Beside him rode Harry, his freind and bodyguard. The prince was in high spirits as he was engaged to the Princess Bella of Deviniona, andwere due to get married in a week's time. He thought nothing could spoil this moment. He was sadly mistaken.
Suddenly a tall dark cloaked figure appeared in front of them, causing their horses to rear up. Harry managed to cling on but the prince was thrown by his horse which bolted. "Oswich!" gasped Harry "I thought you were banished!"
Prince Stewart gulped. He knew that Oswich was an evil sorceror who had tried to take over Elthornia but was defeated.
"I have grown more powerful!" replied Oswich "And have returned to take my vengance - starting with you!"
Harry reached for an arrow, but Oswich was too quick. the sorceror hurled a dark thunderbolt that killed the old soilder and his mount instantly.
"HARRY!" cried Stewart, but he had no time to mourn.
"Now for you, your highness!" laughed Oswich.
"Kill me and the kingdoms will be united against you!" replied the defiant prince, trying to be brave.
"I have something else in store for you!" replied Oswich and hit the prince with a green bolt of energy. Stewart collapsed inside his clothes and emerged as a small frog! "When the court finds your robes, they will think you have been eaten by wolves! Morale in Elthornia will be low, and I will conquer it with my new army of ogres, dragons and weres! You will live long enough to see your kingdom in ruins!" cackled Oswich as he vanished in a puff of smoke.
Stewart hopped onto a log, croaking. What was he to do now? what fates awaited he and Elthornia now?
