...black latex? A strange thing to find in a pool, you think, but as every second passes you feel more and more compelled to find out what it's like to swim in that inky black sea.
You decide to try wading in the pool. You take off your shoes, socks, skirt and even your underwear, leaving your top and bra the only articles of clothing on your slender body. You take a few tentative steps down the wide pool staircase, stopping at the last one before the latex engulfs the rest in its opaque darkness. The surface of the ooze is totally calm, and you can see the lights in the ceiling reflecting off it.
You hold your breath as you slowly raise your left leg and dip your toes into the pool. It's warm, and silky smooth. You place your entire foot in, letting it rest on the step below, and then put your right foot down next to it. The latex's caress against your skin is inviting.
Feeling confident in your exploration, you take a few more steps into the pool. The latex slowly engulfs your knees, your thighs, and finally your privates. You expect a shock, as one would get in a pool of water, but the warm ooze causes no such discomfort. On the contrary, as you wade up to your waist the latex seems to fill you with its warmth, and you feel perfectly content. Your skin feels better than it ever has. Even the open air on your upper body feels more abrasive than the pool's silky oil.
You drop your hands into the pool, feeling the latex overtake them and half your forearms. After a minute, you pull them back up. They are perfectly coated with shiny black latex, but to your amazement, they aren't dripping. Nor does the latex seem to be coming off. You rub the palm of your right hand with the fingers of your left, and find that the latex is completely dry. You can't even peel it off your skin.
You're not bothered by this discovery, however. Your hands feel better than ever. Your nerves can actually feel through the latex as if it was your true skin. The new black coating makes you feel safer, as if it's a new armor you can wear against the ravages of the world.
