"Ron," said Kyle, "if Ben really loves you, he'll support you. If not, well, you're better off without him."
Ron shuddered but stayed silent.
"Remember, we'll always be here to support you."
Ron grunted and wandered out of Kyle's office back to his room, where he collapsed on his bed. He lay there, staring at the ceiling, idly scratching his abs (he'd inherited more than just his pussy from Kyle, he'd also inherited his father's hunky, Chronivac-enhanced bod). He still couldn't believe there was a baby under there.
"Hey, Ron..."
Ron glanced up to see Roger at his door. "Oh, hey, Rog."
"I, uh, couldn't help overhearing your talk with Dad."
Ron frowned. "Fuck."
"Ron, I want to help."
"Then just shut up and don't tell anyone about it, okay?"
"No, seriously, listen... I never told anyone this, but back when we figured out that you're a boy, Kyle and Trev were so worried that the Chronivac was broken, and they couldn't change you to be like a regular boy. They made me worried too. I didn't know much about computers, but I knew how to search for stuff on the net, so I tried to find new software for the Chronivac."
"Yeah, yeah, so did they, but the Chronivac was discontinued, none of the software works anymore."
"Not the original software, no, but I found an update."
"What?"
"But then you told them you were happy being... being you, so I just put the disc away."
"You just put it away? Why didn't you use it?"
"Oh, believe me, sometimes I wanted to. But I always remembered what you told Kyle, about how proud you were of who and what you were, and you never wanted to change. You were just 12, and I was only 11, but I was so impressed.
"Any time I thought about using the Chronivac, I'd feel ashamed for wanting to change myself. I mean, you were putting up with all that teasing at school, but you didn't care at all. That was so cool."
Ron blushed. He didn't realized Rog had paid any attention to that. "I dunno, I just... it's who I am."
"Exactly, that's what's so cool. And you don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks."
Ron rubbed his stomach. "I'm not so sure about that..."
Roger smiled. "Well, being pregnant in high school is hard even for a girl. But, Ron, the Chronivac can help."
"You don't mean..." Ron paled. "No, I don't want to..."
"No, silly, I mean you can do what Dad did. Get it all over with in a few moments."
"Oh!" said Ron. That would help a lot, he thought. I'd still have to take care of the kid, but at least I wouldn't have to go through pregnancy and, ugh, labor. Still...
"Rog, I have to tell you: pregnancy, getting teased at school for being 'Pregnant Boy', morning sickness, mood swings, cravings, even labor... I can deal with all that. But Rog, I'm gonna have to take care of a baby! A whole new person. I don't know if I'm ready to handle that... and I don't know if Ben will want anything to do with that at all."
Roger sat down next to Ron on the bed and thought. Suddenly, he perked up. "Hey! I have an idea!"
Ron was sulking again. "If it involves me joining a nunnery, forget it."
"Idiot. The Chronivac. We can use it on the baby!"
"Huh?"
"If the Chronivac can speed you through pregnancy, it can fast foward the kid through childhood! Then it won't be like having a kid, it'll just be like having a younger brother!"
Ron was silent a moment, processing this. "Will that really work?"
"Dude, look at you. Look at both of us! We're the children of two men. You're a dude with a pussy! You think the Chronivac can't do this?"
Ron still wasn't sure, but he was desperate for a way out of his predicament. "You can really get it working?"
"I'm sure we can. Dude, we have to..."
Ron followed Rog to his room. Rog pulled the Chronivac out from under his bed and hooked it up. Immediately dozens of errors popped up on the screen.
"There's no way this'll work."
"No, no, I can do it." Rog settled into a couple of hours of struggling with the computer. Finally, just when Ron was about to give up, Roger suddenly yelled, "Yes!"
The computer chimed, and there, on there screen, was the Chronivac interface.
Roger grinned widely. "I told you I could do it! Here are all the options! What should we do first?"
