But as soon as the fish tank moved from over the green tank, Lee's knees buckled, and he fell to the floor. He managed to set the tank on the floor without spilling anything before he landed on his side, shocked at losing a foot of height and half his mass in a split second.
He lay there, stunned, for a few seconds, ignoring Charlie's babbling. Then a strange sensation overtook him: he was sure he was lying on his side, but he couldn't tell *which*. He felt the floor through both his left and right sides. He opened his eyes to see where he was, but his vision did not clarify the situation.
He was struck first that the fish tank looked much more. . . three-dimensional than it had. He saw his reflection in its side, but wasn't able to process which side he was lying on based on which side his reflection was on.
"Th- there's t- two of you," Charlie squeezed out.
"What?" Lee asked, suddenly struck by the echo in the room. And then, suddenly, his sensations clicked, and he realized:
There were two of him.
He was lying on both his left and right sides. That is, he had two bodies, and one was on its left and one on its right. It wasn't like he had a twin - he was conscious of both bodies. He felt what both felt, saw what both saw, heard what both heard.
He rolled over onto his back, with both bodies. He tried to sit up, and after a few failed attempts struggling with the strange new motor control, he managed to sit up with just one of the bodies. He noticed that one was larger than the other.
Charlie was, at this point, far too freaked out to stay any longer in this house of horrors. He sprinted for the exit, and there was no way Lee (Lees?) was going to be coordinated enough to stop him.
So, with Charlie gone, Lee puzzled at what had happened. After a while, he figured that the green tank proper and the green fish tank were both tied to his - life essence - and separating them had necessitated the existence of two of him, or rather two bodies with one mind, each body's size based on the liquid in one of the containers.
He stood both bodies up and looked himself over, spinning one body and then the other to see the backside. One was the size he had intended for himself: 6'6", 350 pounds, with a dick that was rapidly approaching 12" as it hardened. The other was smaller, but still above average at 6 feet, 200 pounds, and with a fully hard 7 and a half inches.
The difference in size was. . . disquieting. It felt like having one leg longer than the other. Lee didn't like it, and determined to fix it. It didn't occur to him to try to convert back to one body.
He wasn't going to use the green fish tank, now the source of one of his bodies, to transfer liquid, that was sure. He looked for something else and spotted the black penalty fish tank, dangling from the scales, its counterweight removed. It even still had a good amount of liquid in it. He used his larger body to snap it off the scales and carry it over to his fish tank. He knelt it down, cautious to not let the sensation of growth distract him from pouring.
The sensation of growing had been strange, but the sensation of half of oneself growing to be the size of the other half was even stranger. But once all the liquid was poured, his two bodies were nearly the same size. He spent a few minutes carefully transferring liquid back and forth to get his bodies exactly the same size.
Finally he stood, admiring himself. He was two beautiful hunks, 6'6", bodybuilder-sized, with two penises, each twice the length of an average one.
