After spending a good ten minutes freaking out, you look down at your feet and try to figure out what's happened here. You can see the latex sheen of the flippers - they must have some connection with the puddles from last night. Maybe they're trying to turn you into one of those monsters? But then, why would they stop at the feet? Maybe that was all they could manage to trick you into. Still, something's not right here. If they could sneak the duck feet into your room, why not just cover all of you before you woke up?
The answer has to be in the feet. Lifting them up a little higher, you give them a closer look. They look fairly unrealistic, maybe even a bit cartoonish, but still definitely recognizable. You've got a good degree of control over them - you can bend and twist them with your own feet, which you hope still exist somewhere inside there). Rubbing them with your fingers, you can feel that they're perfectly smooth. Wait... something wrong. Looking closely, you realize that the feet aren't just below your ankles anymore, but that the yellow latex has stretched to swallow your ankles. Looks like that's why they only left the duck feet - they didn't need anything else. Luckily, the latex is progressing slowly. You have time to figure out how to fix this.
