Kat answered: ”Well I don´t believe you. You just don´t have the guts to poison someone”.
“If that is your last word” Dan said, “then we see us in 2 or 3 hours”. He walked in the living room and jumped on the sofa to take a nap.
Kat, doubtful of what her brother said, walked to her room and was going through the spell books her Mother gave her. It was her first day at this. So far she only learned the transformation-spell to turn someone in a cat and the one for the familierbounding. She cast both on her brother, but she can´t seem to find a spell to prove the statement of her brother wrong or right. The problem is a familiar has to be an animal. She can´t just turn her brother back to human and a familiarbound is only broken when one of participants is deceased. So if her brother said the truth she really had a problem.
After about 2 and a quarter hour Kat starts to feel nauseous. She starts to panic and falls the stairs down more than anything else. Her brother snapped out of his nap when she burst into the living room. He mumbles something about “blue pill” and “kitchen counter” and when Kat stepped into the kitchen she found it and gulped it down dry. While her nausea was ebbing down her brother stretched himself and walked in the kitchen. When he found his sister deeply breathing-in he said to her: “The pill wasen´t the Antidote, the poison was just delayed for about 12 hours. So will you turn me back now?”
After Kat catched her breath, she said: ”I can´t. You are already bound to me as my familiar and they must be animals.”
“Well,” said Dan, “That´s to bad. I hope You will find a solution soon, ´cause this was the only delaying pill and I will give you the Antidote only when I´m Human”.
