"Come on Paula, get up" Paul's mother said to him when he wouldn't move. "We have a busy morning before our ballet class. Now you need to get up."
Paul still refused to move and said, with a face red with embarrassment "I don't want to get out of bed."
His mother just looked at him with a look of understanding on her face. "Oh honey" she said "is this because of what happened last night?"
Paul just looked into his mother's eyes and simply said "Yes."
His mother sat down on the bed next to him and hugged him. "I wasn't mad at you for wetting yourself last night Paula" she said in a soothing voice. "I was mad because you were fighting me. I had to change you since you couldn't sleep in those wet training pants."
Paul just continued to snuggle up to his mother and said "But I wet myself last night."
His mother started rubbing his back and said "Yes you did but you don't need to be ashamed because of it. I'll tell you a little secret about myself. I wet myself almost nightly until I was five. You've been able to go for a whole month without wetting yourself at night which is more than I was able to do when I was your age. Besides you had a bad dream last night. I may be a little short with you at times since your father went to Heaven but I love you so much and I want you to be the best little girl you can be."
She didn't know just how ashamed he was about wetting himself last night. He was a fifteen year old boy and shouldn't be wetting himself like that. He then remembered what Chan had told him yesterday. He only had until this afternoon until he lost his memory of him being a fifteen year old boy. He decided that he might as well try to enjoy his new body before then. Besides his mother's words and voice soothed and calmed him down. He didn't even feel as ashamed as he did just a few moments ago. His mother gave him a tight squeeze and he said "Alright Mommy, I'll get up now." Did he really just say Mommy?
He went to the dresser and picked out a pair of white panties with little pink hearts on them and a pair of white socks with pink hearts at the top. His mother helped him into a pink sundress and his Mary Jane shoes.
During that morning they went to the store to pick up a birthday cake for one of the girls in his mother's beginners class. It was her birthday today and there was a small birthday party after class. That's one thing Paul liked about his mother, she always remembered the girls' and his birthdays and always had a small party at the ballet studio. She also decorated the studio for the party. He had always helped set up when he wasn't in school but he wondered if he'd be able to help set up today.
When they got to the studio and his mother had all the stuff inside she turned to him and asked "Would you like to help me set up the decorations Paula?"
"Can I really help you Mommy?" Paul asked amazed that those words had come out of his mouth like he hadn't been allowed to help before. He then figured that as Paula he probably wasn't allowed to help before.
"Of course you can sweetie" his mother said "but you need to do what I tell you to do."
"Ok Mommy" Paul answered.
It took them a few hours to get all the decorations for the party up. During that time Paul was having so much fun with his mother that he forgot all about what Chan had said yesterday. They had just finished getting the decorations up when Chan and another nine year old girl by the name of Hannah Thompson came in chatting to each other.
"Miss Misho would you help Paula get ready for class while I finish some paper work?" Paul's mother asked.
"Sure thing Mrs. Miller" Chan answered.
In the girls locker room Chan said to Paul "I have some good news for you Paul."
"What is it?" Paul asked.
"The medallion you picked up wasn't the one I had left for my cousin" Chan said. "He did pick it up and now he's a four year old girl. Also you won't lose your memory of being your former self."
"Then why did I change into a four year old girl?" Paul asked.
"It's because you touched a leotard for a four year old girl with the medallion" Hannah answered.
"How do you know about it Hannah?" Paul asked.
"Because five years ago I had a similar situation happen to me" Hannah answered. "You see I was a 34 year old guy shopping for a dress for my niece for Christmas. Some guy suddenly came running through the department and knocked me over into the dresses. As I was getting up my hand touched the medallion and a dress for a four year old girl. I felt a slight jolt when I did then things became blurry but became clear again quickly. After that my body started to tingle a bit. I thought that it was just because I had been knocked down, but as I went to get up it became stronger. So strong in fact that I fell back down again. After that one of the ladies that worked there asked if I was alright and where my parents were. I was about to say I was alright and that I was there by myself when I caught sight of myself in a mirror. Instead of seeing myself as I was I saw a little girl in a cute little pink dress. Then two people came up and said they were my parents. They showed the lady pictures of me and their drivers licenses to show that they were indeed my parents. After they had put me in the car they explained to me what had caused me to transform. They had looked for the medallion of course but it was gone so I was stuck as a four year old girl. Listen we'll have to talk more about this later as I can hear the other girls coming and they don't know that you were a fifteen year old boy."
