"Since you're so satisfied," Derek said quietly as Sonya continued her nap. "Let's go a little further. First your feet and hands will become like tiger paws."
Derek continued petting Sonya as he watched her fingers thicken and shorten into the unmistakable paws of a feline. Her thumbs shrank to almost nothing and moved up her arms, while her legs adopted a proper digitigrade stance. "Don't worry, you can still walk on your hind legs," he reassured his sleeping beauty. He watched her tail swishing around on the bed. "For a little fun, how about making that tail a little longer? How about six feet. That way you can use it to grab stuff."
As her tail grew out from her back, Derek regarded her dyed red hair. "You'll need a better mane than that. Your hair will be naturally red like this from now on. Not only that, but it'll gain one inch every minute, becoming wilder and thicker as it grows."
For several minutes, Derek petted Sonya's hair and back, watching carefully to confirm that her locks were slowly transforming into the mane he wished for. After five or so minutes, he could tell it was growing longer, as it was now past her shoulder blades. Sonya had never been able to grow it longer, and Derek hoped that she'd like what she saw upon waking.
He decided to wait a few more minutes before waking her. She looked so cute and peaceful, and he had never had such a creature on his lap before. Derek was savoring every delicious moment.
When the time came to wake Sonya, her hair had grown almost a foot, and was close to brushing her tail. As he expected, Derek saw that it had thickened as well. It wasn't totally smooth and straight any longer. Her locks had gained a noticeable amount of wave and body. While it still fell within the range of human appearance, Derek knew that soon it would look more at home on a lion.
His legs had started to fall asleep. Derek gently prodded Sonya to get up. She grumbled at first, but after a few soothing calls of "Sonya," her ears perked up and her eyes batted open.
