It was a fairly normal day down at the local park for Rob Jones. He was going for a power walk while his two teenage sons, Daniel and Sam, were playing a quick game of soccer with their friends. But just as he was reaching the halfway point of his walk, his boys came running up to him.
"Dad! We got tired of playing soccer, give us some money for a movie," Daniel demanded as he impatiently held out his hand.
"Well..son, I don't-"
"Oh come on Dad! We want to see a fucking movie already!" Sam shouted in frustration, interrupting his father.
"Sam, your mother and I don't approve of that language. When I was your age-"
"Oh jeez Dad, will you just shut the hell up and give us our money already?! If we listen to one of your stupid stories we're gonna miss the afternoon showing!" Daniel yelled as he got more and more impatient.
And as these three carried on this scene, they failed to notice a couple of former dogs walking through the park behind them. Like many humans, they were all just too busy with their own petty issues to appreciate, or even notice the world around them. And that is when the change struck.
"Finally!" Sam snapped as he took his father's money from him. "You know, if you gave us a better allowance we wouldn't need to talk to...to...what the..."
"Hey Sam! Are you o...kay....augh..." Daniel spoke as he was afficlted by the same odd feeling his brother carried.
Rob watched with deep concern for his sons they clutched at their stomachs. He tried to ask them what was wrong, but was silenced as he suddenly realized that they were shrinking. As they got smaller, their clothes became baggier than normal, falling down to their ankles, revealing their young backsides. They suddenly dropped to their hands and knees, with their arms and legs reshaping themselves to suit a four legged beast. Tails suddenly sprang from their rears, and fur began to spread rapidly over their bodies.
Daniel barked out his last words as his face pushed out into a muzzle, "Dad! Stop standing there and hel-rooo-p us! Hel-arooo-p aroooo-wooo-woooof! Woof! Woof! Arooooo!"
And Sam wasn't any better either, he yipped and whined as he lost the last traces of his humanity in his mind. Soon, they were both shaking off the last bits of their clothing that hadn't already fallen off.
Rob was at a loss for words. His two sons were now naked dog-boys, running off into the park. He didn't know what to say, what to do...And as he panicked silently, the change began to come over him too.
