Gordon looked himself over in the mirror, his eyes roving hungrily over every inch of his new body.
He stood slightly taller than he normally would have despite a slightly hunched posture. His entire body was covered in dark armored plates that overlapped every inch of his body. His stomach was a light cream green fading to black on his back.
Gordon's face had changed almost completely into an insects, large multifaceted eyes gazed unblinkingly back from his reflection. Thick mandibles pressed out from the edges of his mouth which he twiched experimentally. His faced had pushed out into a blunt muzzle with his new mouthparts flexing anxiously at the tip, working just like insect jaws and shining with the faintest hint of moisture.
Two thick antennae stuck out of his thick sloped forehead and were waving about the room, testing the air for chemicals and sending back strange new signals to his brain.
His back was covered in the same hard black shell as the rest of his body, with a double-row of thick black spikes running down it. He found that he could make these spikes stand up or lie flat at will.
The row of spikes flowed down his back and out along a thick segmented tail that stuck out from his back. The tail was thick and relatively short, appearing to be be an adapted insect abdomen. It was even tipped with a deadly looking stinger that Gordon found he could retract or extend, a sensation that was altogether pleasurable.
"I look amazing!", he thought to himself and clicked his mandibles happily. He chuckled to himself, emitting a strange insect-like churring sound, "this is awesome."
