"This...is so weird." said John, as he inspected his reflection in the window of the costume shop. Both he and Carrie now stood about 7'6" tall, and were so fat that they had to squeeze through the shops double doors. He guessed that they were both at least 6 feet wide from hip to hip, and possibly wider. Carrie's body was globular in form - like a great, round ball of soft, spongy fat. Her legs, hips, belly, butt, breasts and upper arms jiggled as she waddled and bounced along. Her head had changed shape, and her huge mouth was tipped with kissable lips. She had only three fingers and a thumb, and her feet were like a hippo's round hoof.
He was built differently, with the same mass...but more of a "sumo" quality to his bulk. He felt himself, and though her was soft as well, he could feel thick muscle under his flab. His head had become a Rhinos, but his eyes were still his. Like Carrie, his hands and feet had changed, and he noticed that both he and she had comparably small tails. Even their hair was different. John's hair was gone entirely, but Carrie had thick, wavy masses of blond hair that made her look like a cartoon, hippo version of Farah Fawcet. He noticed that her thick fingers ended in red-painted nails, and as she waddled about - inspecting herself - she moved in a exaggeratedly sexy manner. Not a hint like her usual body language.
"Oh, WOW!" Carrie cried in a bubbly, extra-cutesy voice. She touched her muzzle, and giggled like Betty Rubble as she clapped her hands together. "We look PERFECT! I just LOVE it, Johnny! I REALLY DO!" Then she giggled again.
John took several more steps - getting used to his drastically different body - when Carrie suddenly threw her large arms around him and crushed her huge body against his.
"Thanks for agreeing to honeymoon in Cartoon World! I...OH! LOOK, JOHN! Look at the WORLD!!!"
John had already noticed what Carrie had. Their human eyes had seen the world in mundane shades, but now....the world exploded into colors! The sky was an unnatural shade of blue, and the sun wasn't so bright that they couldn't see the smiling face. The cars...buildings...the people...
Everything around them was best described as 'Cartoony' in appearance. He was so surprised, that he almost didn't notice that Carrie's skin had turned pink, while his own was now a blue. They both looked as if they'd been colored by Hanna/Barbara during the 60's!
"This...is so strange." John said, inspecting his cartoony body. That was when...
"Uh, you know...these are just costumes, and all...but we're still naked."
Carrie smiled, pinched him on the cheek, and said "I know. We need to go to this store next door and pick out new look."
John waddled after her, asking "What do you mean by 'New look', Carrie? I though this was it?"
They entered the store, and John saw that it was technically part of the same shop, only dealing in clothes instead of bodies. His and Her costumes were everywhere, and John realized that each pair of costumes had a theme. Here and there were piled costumes of all types, and a woman stepped up to them, saying "All cartoons...and particularly cartoon couples...have a theme to them. Here, you'll find a wide selection of looks for you to choose from. Perhaps you'd like to be a pair of amusingly cartoony Goths? Or a buffoonish couple of Pirates? Perhaps a couple from a classic genre, like the Gangster and his Moll, or jolly '1950's Sitcom Couple"? Maybe you just want to go with the typical "Funny Animal" look?
