"Alright, fine." Hannah blew up. "You don't want any help, just go on beating your head against a tree. That's a great way to live. You've been doing nothing since you got here but acting like because you want Larry back, that's what has to happen. Have you ever considered that she might like it here? You think you're the first person in the world to get dumped? Do you think you could at least pretend to give a half a damn about Leticia's happiness, rather than going me, me, me all the time? And you think you could get me just by reaching out? Believe me, I'm not that desperate. This doe's got some standards."
Marth stood there with his jaw open as Hannah stalked off.

*Uh oh* Alexis thought the second after she hit the random button *what if I become a carnivore?*
She felt her skin thicken, and coarse black hairs grow over her body. It felt like someone was pulling out her nose, as it lengthened into a snout. Her ears grew points and her fingers grew hard hoofs. She felt her body pulse with lean power, and despite her disgust with the morality of the process, it felt good.
Alexis the sowmorph trotted into Transformation Park.

"OK" Naomi addressed Harry and Zack "We're going to need some security around that bearmorph. She hasn't harmed anyone yet, but she seems to have come close with both Leticia and Father Tyminski. I want you two to shadow her. And remember, all violence between guests is forbidden. She does something, you protect the guest and take her down, got it?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Yes ma'am."
"Rats." Harry remarked after Naomi left the room. "Looks like I'm going to miss the wedding."
"Oh, I don't know about that. Mother of the groom and all." Zack laughed.
"You think she's going to crash the wedding? Oh man."
Zack and Harry had been trained to take down a bearmorph, but neither was looking forward to having to put that training to use.

"What I'm saying." Juanita explained "is that Spike is at far too young a mental and emotional age to make such a big decision about his future. Going feral is a major change, and a major challenge, and he doesn't even have any real knowledge of the life he would be giving up on the other side."
The husky had been easy to deal with. Her insistence on putting the question of Spike in terms of following orders had only stiffened Jenny's resistance. But the human was a more difficult foe. Jenny couldn't deny that what she was saying made sense. But turning her wonderful, curious, kind little boy back into the scary, selfish adult Spike was too awful to consider. There had to be some alternative!

"Are you Ok?" Jeremy could see the tracks of tears running down the fur on Leticia's face.
Leticia tried to smile. "I'm OK. I think he got the message. Please, don't challenge him. I don't want to see anyone hurt." An image of Sam's victory over Spike flashed through her mind.
"Alright, Leticia, if that's what you want. But he better not make you cry any more." Jeremy was sincere in telling Leticia that he wouldn't challenge Marth. But he knew if Marth challenged him, he would have to fight no matter how much it hurt Leticia. To do otherwise would be to lose herd leadership, and that had become fundamental to his sense of who he was.

"Well?" asked Su Yin.
Lateisha grinned. "Looks like the wedding's still on."
