"Ugh," Janet moans as your movements have woken her. "I feel so naked and cold," she says in a drowsy voice.
"Well you shouldn't," you say. "You're wearing the same clothes that you were wearing when we arrived." As you sit there waiting for Janet to fully wake up, you feel your stomach growl. "Come on. Get up. I'm starving."
After changing clothes and getting cleaned up, you and Janet go down to the restaurant that is in the hotel. You fill your plate at the buffet and begin to look for a place to sit while Janet waits for her toast to finish.
"You and your girlfriend can sit with us if you'd like," a female voice from behind you says. It belongs to a woman that has reddish-brown hair with several blonde streaks. She's very petite. Her face is somehow familiar to you. She's sitting at a table with a tall black man with a shaved head. It finally strikes you as to who they are. The woman is a bit part actress in several movies. You know that her name is Lisa something or other. The man is a basketball player but you can't remember what his name is or what team he plays on. You just can remember seeing the two of them in a magazine article that was in a trashy tabloid that your girlfriend was reading on the plane.
"Thanks," you say before introducing yourself. Janet comes over with an odd look on her face. "This is my girlfriend Janet." Turning to Janet, "this is....."
"I'm Lisa," the woman says, "and this is, umm just call him Tom."
"It's nice to meet you," Tom says standing up and offering his hand to Janet. You could see her blush a little. You know that Janet really goes for gentlemanly acts.
Over the course of the next hour, the four of you become acquainted with each other. None of you have mentioned anything about changes or what type of rooms you have, but your curiosity is getting the better of you until you finally ask.
"We really splurged on this trip," Lisa says. "We got one of the rooms that lets you change anything. What did you two get?"
"We could only really afford the species room," Janet says.
Lisa briefly acknowledges that Janet answered her question and then turns back to you. "How did you like it? I bet you really enjoyed it." Not waiting for you to answer she quickly changes the subject to something else.
Janet gives you a bit of a look. You feel a foot slightly rubbing your leg and assume that it's Janet. Looking down quickly you see that the foot belongs to Lisa. Glancing back at you, you catch her giving you a little bit of a seductive look.
"Well, I think we've spent enough time at breakfast," Janet says. You assume she must have caught the look as well. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm ready to try another change now." The two of you excuse yourselves.
Lisa stands up. "Maybe we'll see you again. I hope." She gives you a big hug and you notice a slightly familiar smell but you can't place why you know it.
After you are in the elevator, Janet looks at you. "She was coming on to you."
"You think?"
Once you are in your room, you can clearly tell that Janet was thinking about something. She turns and looks at you. Before you can ask what's wrong, she says, "so what are we going to be today."
Well, there is only one thing that you know that will make Janet forget about whatever is going on in her head. "I'm picking this one you says." You're clothes have already vanished.
Long white hairs start to cascade down from halfway up your forearm. Your fingers start to pull in together and merge. A white diamond forms on your forehead and white fur runs under your chin. Small brown hairs start to push out through the skin on your arms until they are completely fur covered.
Janet looks at you and smiles. "Thank you," she says.
