They spent the next day setting up for security, well, mostly Gina. Jen spent most of her time sitting there giving Gina webbing. Gina made walls all around the campsite. The only way in was a long, dark tunnel leading to the inside of the cave. The tunnel is kind of a maze. All the wrong ways are full of webs so thin they are impossible to see even with light. Gina has a photographic memory and easily memorized the way out. "You know what, I think I need a long range weapon too." "Why? You've got claws and you're fast even though you're part snail." "That's exactly why. You can't move properly. In fact, you can't move at all unless I cut your roots. So I have to do the hunting." "I guess you're right. You can make a bow. Obviously, I can provide string. Perhaps while you make the arrows you can carve some bullets for me. Oh! And there is some highly combustible soil about a 1/4 mile west of here." "This isn't the 1800's. A pistol doesn't need gun powder." "I know that, you just never know when you might need to blow stuff up." "Yeah, you're right. I'll be back in a few hours." Gina left through the tunnel. She returned hours later with a tool box, 2 buckets full of differently colored soil, a stringless bow, several sticks she carved, arrowheads, feathers, and a TV. "I can understand the other stuff but what with the TV?! And where did you get the tool box?!" "I stole them from some campers. Those campers happened to be my parents! My dad wants his new radio TV and his tools back so he's following the slime. He doesn't know a thing. Oh! here he comes!"
