You feel dizzy for a moment as something happens to your body. After a brief numbing sensation in your ears, you reach up and find they have reverted back to regular human ears. Your tongue probes your teeth to confirm your fangs are gone. You look behind you, but you still see your black cat's tail.
You wonder why it isn't disappearing. Meanwhile, you feel an itching in your scalp. As you scratch it with a gloved hand, you realize it's growing out. A sudden tugging on your hair startles you. It feels like the hair is coiling itself up behind your head. It ends when you feel something like a rope drop against your backside.
You notice a dusty mirror in the corner on a table. You walk over to it, blow the dust off and peer though the foggy glass. Your face is still feminine, but you can tell something is different. There is a good amount of makeup on your face, including blush, eye shadow and lipstick. You look about 16 or 17 years old, still female, with a thick black braid that ends at your knees in a white bow. Your black cat's tail is still present, but now there seems to be a hole magically formed in your skirt so it doesn't come out the bottom.
You got most of your humanity back, at any rate. You want to feel relieved, but you still can't fathom going back to your normal life as a girl with a cat's tail.
The good news is, the spell on your mind that broke when you became a cat-girl hasn't returned. You can move about freely, and you have no desire to serve the witch as her maid. For the time being, though, you feel it best to play along until you get the opportunity to escape.
You hear footsteps outside the door. Quickly you start cleaning up the room, worried the witch will see your minimal progress and think you've been slacking off.
