"Don't leave now!" John yelled at the goat-man. "I don't want to be a monster like you."
The satyr turned, an angry look on his face, "A monster!? Human, you have crossed a line. I can choose to break the enchantment, in fact, I was going to spare you from the change. Not now, though. I am leaving now, and you will have no knowledge of what happened here tonight. You'll experience the change without knowing why. And with that, I bid you a good evening!"
Having finished his tirade, the satyr weaved his hands through the air, disappearing in a flash of blue light. John threw up his hands to shield his eyes from the glare...
He looked around the bathroom, wondering why he had his hands raised. "Oh, right. I should dry my hands," he thought as he picked up a paper towel. John had the feeling that he was missing something, "Guess I'd better get home. It's getting late."
John left the alley's restroom and went toward the front door. He noticed a strange taste in his mouth, "What was I drinking?"
Unaware of his predicament, John got in his car, ready to go home. He did not see the horned figure in the shadows, a figure that was watching him and laughing softly.
The car pulled out of the bowling alley's parking lot onto the highway...
