Johnny's hair stopped growing as quickly as it began. In fact, he wasn't sure if it had grown, or if he had imagined it. He didn't get bigger, taller or more ape-like, either. The only thing that really changed was his feet, and boy did they grow. They started out at a modest size eight, but quickly blew past that into truly monstrous size. When they had stopped, Johnny sat on the floor and examined them, slightly freaked out that the potion had actually affected him at all. His feet were truly huge, a sight to behold. He ran his hand along the strong, thick and long arches, surprised by how sensitive his feet were now. A tingle shot from his foot to his groin. Even his toes were massive; he could barely wrap his hand around his big toes, and they were all so long, longer than his fingers. He leaned back and gingerly lifted each pendulous ped. He was surprised to find that they felt completely natural to him. Sure, they were heavier --much heavier-- than his feet had been moments ago, but to Johnny and his body it was as if this was they way feet were supposed to be, and this is the way feet are supposed to feel.
Johnny leaned back over to take another, closer look, but as he did he got a whiff of the strongest feet smell he had EVER smelt in his life! (Including the time that Ryan had decided to wake him up by shoving his toes up Johnny's nose while they were camping last summer. What five days of heat, hiking and no bathing can do to a guy's feet...)"Phew!" Johnny sighed as he jerked backward. He stood up and wiggled his toes on the cool tile floor. Now over his initial transformation shock, he thought about how he had been hoping for something more than big feet. (Although he was thinking about sweet revenge for Ryan's camping wake-up call...)He looked at the other potions, most of which were in various states of filled, and had barely-legible labels. There were no other indications about the potions and their effects, no notes or diagrams. Johnny examined the box, but all that was there was an ornately painted moon with a mischievous face on the top. Lightning flashed from the window and in the play of the light, Johnny could have sworn he saw the face wink at him. He dropped the dark little wooden box, not knowing what more he should expect from this house, and made a sort of clattering noise that echoed from the lab.
