You step forward, using the momentum to launch your foot into the air. With a long, curved swipe, you kick through the werewolf, your foot literally going right through it. Chunks of purple latex splatter across the room as your foot continues to travel, virtually unhindered by the monster, and with a yelp its two remaining parts, separated at the waist, fall to the floor and lie there motionlessly. Looks like you've won this one, and you're no worse for the wear.
The teen you'd saved peeks out from the corner where he'd been hiding, cautiously approaching you, his spirits raising with every step. You can see by the look on his face that he's extremely grateful for what you've done.
"You can't tell what that meant to me, man," he says with gratitude filling his young eyes. "Another couple of minutes and that thing could've eaten me. So... can we go now?"
You nod to him in agreement - you'd really like to spend as little time here as possible after that encounter - and the two of you set off to find a way out of the mansion.
