Suddenly, the wind changes direction, gusting towards you at an incredible speed. You almost stumble backwards, taken by surprise, but the four balloons are sent straight in your direction. Three of them pass you by, missing by just the slightest bit, but the elephant slams you right in the face. It feels like a ton of bricks impacting your head, and you're immediately knocked unconscious.
Some time later you start to come to, still in a bit of a daze from the blow you'd taken before. Odd that the balloon was so heavy, but maybe you'd just mistaken the situation. It probably just knocked you over, and then you probably just hit your head on a rock or something. That could certainly be the case, as you head does hurt right now, feeling as though someone had hit you with a sledgehammer. You reach up to rub your injured cranium, and are a bit startled at how much swelling has gone on. It feels much thicker, larger, and the shape is off. On top of that, it feels a bit like...
Oh no. With a start, you open your eyes. Extending out in front of you, a shiny, snake-like trunk is slowly curling in the air, flanked by a pair of milky white tusks. Climbing back to your feet in alarm, you feel the ears protruding from the sides of your head flopping from the sudden motion, coming to a rest as you do. Looking around, your suspicions are confirmed: the fox, cat, and giraffe balloons continue to float gently above the balloon stand, but the elephant balloon is nowhere to be seen. Touching your smooth head, feeling the hair at its top that remains as the only sign of your human visage, it doesn't take you long to figure out just where it went to.
