As the girls walked down the aisles looking for their friend Amy kept an eye out for anything that might be able to stop her transformations. She had enjoyed them up until she grew the second pair of generous breasts right beneath her original pair. Things were getting out of hand and she was afraid of what might happen next.
"Hey Lina, do you hear something?" asked Amy, her ears swiveling toward the sound trying to pick it up.
"No, I don't hear anything. Why?"
"I though I just heard someone crying."
"Well your the one with the giant ears. Lead the way Micky Mouse!"
Amy shot Lina an irritated look but decided it wasn't worth arguing about and concentrated back on the sound. It was defiantly the sound of someone crying, probably around 15 aisles away, but she wasn't sure. She hadn't quite figured out just how precise her hearing had become. As they passed aisle after aisle the sound grew louder and louder. Eventually Lina chimed in. "Yeah, I hear it now. Sounds like its coming from a few aisles away."
"Yeah. I sounds like a girls voice too... you don't think?"
"What if its Jessica?"
Lina ran ahead with Amy trying to keep pace on her new hooves. As they turned the corner sure enough there was Jessica sitting curled up on the floor with her head between her knees.
"Jess!" both girls yelled as they ran over to where their friend sat on the ground. Jessica peeked her head up slightly, still keeping her face hidden behind her arms. "Lina! Amy! How did you guys find me?"
"Well we knew you were coming here silly." said Amy.
"And that crazy old man at the front pointed us in this direction."
Jessica's eyes lit up in fear at the mention of the old man and started to cry again.
"Wait a minute. Are you OK Jess? Whats wrong?"
Jess stopped sobbing and peeked up at her two friends. "I'm so embarrassed. If I show you guys will promise me your not going laugh?"
"Of course not." Lina reassured her. "Besides we already got cud-butt over here. How could you possibly be any worse?"
Jessica let out a weak giggle, more out of relief than anything. She was so happy her friends had found her after that ordeal. "OK, here goes."
Jessica slowly lifted up her head and took her knees away from her body. Even after seeing Amy's changes Jessica's still shocked them. Her face had turned catlike. Her nose had turned light pink against her amber skin and was upturned like a cats. Her upper lip had split up the middle to meet the bottom of her larger moist nose. Three small whiskers stuck out of each side of her upper lip and twitched nervously. A light dusting of soft tan fur graced her facial features and ran down her neck and into her shirt. The girls noticed that Jessica had grown another set of breasts just like Amy, although hers remained more proportionate to her size. Below her short shirt white reptilian underbelly scales covered her tight abdomen and proceeded down into her pants where they disappeared from view. Dark green scales wrapped around her back and met the underbelly scales on each side of her midriff. Jessica's fingers had melded into nearly complete hooves resembling those of a common herbivore. Her thumbs had disappeared but she was able to move her two remaining "fingers" on each hand reasonably well, albeit they were stumpy and covered in a sort of thick black enamel making her grip questionable at best. Long soft gray fur feathered her forearms up to her elbows where the fur tapered off back to her skin. Then the girls noticed that hanging around her neck was a golden studded, black leather choker with a beautiful golden medallion hanging from it.
"What happened Jess?" Lina asked unable to hide her astonishment at her friends condition.
"Its all because of this thing" she said pointing to the choker with a hoof, "The shopkeeper said something about a kimmero or something."
"A Chimera?" Amy asked
"Yeah! Thats it! Chimera. What is a chimera anyways?"
"Its a creature from Greek mythology. Supposedly it was part lion, part snake, and part goat." explained Amy.
"Well that would explain all that different fur and scales then." Lina said.
"Yeah, but the weirdest part was growing these extra boobs. It felt like nothing I've ever felt before... It almost felt... good."
"Join the club" said Amy putting her hands on her hips and stuck out her chest to let Jessica see her latest change.
"Hey, not bad Amy. You got mine beat thats for sure." Jessica replied.
"Thanks. But I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing."
"Can we please get back on topic here?" interrupted Lina. "You guys can boob talk some other time. Right now we have to figure out what happened to Jess."
She turned back to Jessica and spoke softly, trying to use her most comforting voice "Now Jessie, do you remember what happened to you? How did you end up like this?"
"Hell, yeah I remember. I'll start from when I left you guys to be as un-confusing as possible. When I left you guys I came straight here. They had just opened the doors...
