Unbeknownst to you, the latex wasn't quite as harmless as it had appeared. While it had remained motionless as you watched it, it now crawls from its bowl while you sleep. It moves like a slug, creeping slowly across the floor, pulling itself along as one solid, pink, slimy mass. Seeping under your door, it slides across the floor of your room to your bed, silently climbing up onto your sheets and facing your face as you continue to slumber. It shifts over your face, and then it slowly melts into you, allowing itself to be absorbed into your pores, dribbling all across your face and down your neck before vanishing beneath the surface of your skin.
When you wake up, you don't feel anything strange. You just do a big stretch, let out a yawn, open the window to breathe in the fragrant morning air, and then head out of your room to start your morning routine.
