Another one of the surfers, whose name you overhear to be Drew, positions a wide angle lamp direcly above you. It's like a fluorescent strip light and it stretches
vertically from your head to your feet. After a short while you hear a click and then see nothing but bright white light. Your skin and hair feels it is burning and
bubbling but you cannot move your body an inch while still trapped in the leather restraints. You're surprised when, after a two minutes or so of cooking, your
whole body is spun round so that you are left lying on your front, in excruiating pain as you press down on your heated skin.
After two more minutes, you hear the light being switched off, but you're still unable to see. The burning pain in your skin is still raging until you feel hands rubbing in
a cool soothing liquid. The same mechanism as before spins your body so that you are lying on your back. The hands rub the liquid over your chest and legs.
After about ten minutes, your vision starts to clear. You look up and see...
