Marsha awoke to find Jenny already up, but Helen to be gone. She smiles curiously at Jenny due to Jenny’s new hat. A large winter cap is on her head. Marsha was about to speak when she remembered the night. She reached down into the sheets and felt it. Her tail still attached firmly. She swallowed hard and opened her mouth,” did you have a good night, Jenny?” Jenny shook her head, “not really, I…” Jenny looks down and almost starts crying.
Helen comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her, but she doesn’t look wet. She quickly goes through the drawers and pulls out some of the oversized clothes and runs back into the bathroom. Marsha looks and Jenny and knows something is wrong. “Did something happen last night to you?” Marsha asks. Jenny just reaches up to her head and feels the sides. She shakes her head, “no, I’m fine really.”
Helen again comes out, now fully dressed in long pants and a large shirt. “So,” Helen starts a little shaky, “What’s on today’s agenda?” Marsha and Jenny don’t seem much in the mood. “Come on, today’s our last day here,” Helen cheers. Neither Jenny nor Marsha wished to bring up the night again, so they put on fake smiles and stood up, Marsha a bit more carefully than Jenny.
Outside, there’s a whole change of mood at the park. Many girls are wearing a variety of hats and looser clothing, as opposed to the previous night of skimpy or no outfits. The girls all seem toned down, except for a few who try to get everyone else all wired up. Helen was one of these girls, “okay, let’s hit those other two roller coasters, we’ll come back and eat, and then get drunk, and play games,” Helen jumps up and down and leads the girls on.
They get to the roller coaster and girls pile in as before, but they’re a lot more silent. The car climbs up and takes off with a roar. More and more girls start cheering and laughing as the ride goes on, even Jenny and Marsha. The ride takes hard turns and then a long loop. At the top of the loop, several girls in front loose their hats and everyone goes quiet. The girls rush to cover their heads, but it’s too late to hide the long donkey ears on top of their heads.
Several girls start laughing at them pointing and pulling on them, but Jenny was quiet. Until a girl behind her spotted her hat and yanked it off. Jenny shrieked as her long ears popped up on her head. Marsha looked over along with Helen. They tried to hold it in for their friend, but they couldn’t. Marsha and Helen crack up as the ride starts to slow down and stop.
The girls climb out and all start to own up to what happened. “You too Jenny?” Marsha laughs, “look at this.” Marsha lifts up her skirt and lets her tail fly free. Several other girls give up the charade and let their tails out. Other girls drop their pants and let their furry legs be shown. Others took off their shirts revealing furry backs and chests, some with long dark manes on their necks. Jenny laughs with Marsha and they both look over at Helen who just sighs. Helen lifts up her shirt and reveals a light gray chest of fur growing all around her, even on her breast. It spreads all the way around to her back.
They all can’t stop laughing. “I can’t believe it happened to you too. To everyone,” Marsha calms herself. The girls walk back down to the boardwalk where the mood is lively again. None of the girls were hiding their changes, it was exactly as it was the night before.
“Well, what now?” Jenny asks.
