Ben blinked at the large, anthropomorphic Newfoundland dog in the mirror and was only mildly surprised to see the dog blink right back at him. It was hard to believe that the dog in the mirror was him. But it was.
He began to rub his paw-like hands over his furry chest. The thick almost woolly black fur felt a little oily to the touch. But it felt so good to rub his paw-like hands against it. The action made him want to pant contentedly and wag his tail from side to side.
Ben watched himself as he continued to rub himself all over with his paw-like hands. He guessed that he must be about 6’6". He felt so good, so powerful and so alive that it made him think of how puny and underdeveloped his original human form was. There was a strength in his body now, a strength he never had before. His right paw-like hand brushes across his private and makes him pant a little bit faster. He looks down at his pants and then at his slightly torn T-shirt. And without really thinking about it he takes them off to gaze at the rest of his new body. He looks into the mirror and smiles at the sight of his canine self.
Ben admires himself before recalling that he just wagged his tail. He tries to look over his back to see it but the thickness of his neck and the expanse of his broad back make it almost impossible for him to see it. So he grabs a hold of the mirror and turns it until allows him to himself from the side. A deep, barking laugh escapes from his muzzle as he sees just how big he really is all around. He then looks into the mirror to look at his tail. He wags it playfully and tries to make a grab for it. But he has trouble getting his arms around his massive body to reach it. He finally does grab and he strokes it playfully for a moment before releasing it and wagging it.
He makes some poses in front of the mirror to gain a better appreciation of how big and massive he is. He walks around the bathroom on his hind legs and finds himself loving how his new body moves. With another smile to his muzzle, he squats down on the tips of his toes and knees and pretends to act like a real Newfoundland dog. As he squats down, he accidentally pinches his balls between his thighs and falls to the floor with a yelp. He hits the ground so hard that he causes some of the items on the bathroom counter to shake, rattle and roll around a bit.
He sheepishly rubs his furry butt and then tries to squat down again. And he succeeds this time. He then looks into the mirror and smiles at the sight of him again. If it wasn’t for his size and bodily proportions (which are still more human proportionally), he would look almost like a real Newfoundland dog. But Ben still finds himself happy about his new looks and all. Still happy despite the fact that he really wasn’t looking forward to getting the whole package out of the program he just used.
Just before he can go further in admiring his new canine looks, his ears perk up at the sound of a small beeping noise from his bedroom. He gets up off the floor. But instead of trying to get back up onto his two hind legs, he decides to go back to his bedroom on all fours. And much to his surprise, Ben finds out that walking on all fours is just as good as walking on his hind legs. So he happily trots into his bedroom and turns toward the sound. He sees that his computer has a message blinking on it. Reluctantly he gets back up onto his hind legs and looks at the computer screen. And as he does so, he wondered how much of him right now of his identity was of his old human self and how much of it went literally to the dogs. He looks at the screen and points one stubby finger at it as he reads the following:
"Dear user, we are sorry, but the change that you had requested has developed an error and will be terminated. To continue please pick one of the following options."
