As she stood, her elbow brushed the computer and a message flashed across the screen, "Awareness of Megan and Jeff have shifted."
Not sure what this meant, she shrugged and stood to go and make dinner. "I figure out a way to have a little fun later. Maybe Harold can be persuaded to join in."
Up in here room, Jeff in Megan's body felt suddenly dizzy and suddenly all his memories were gone and he now had Megan's, but he still knew himself as Jeff.
Dashing out into the hall she collided with her brother who suddenly demanded, "What have you done? I now have all your memories, but I still know that I am Megan in Jeff's body."
I didn't do anything. Something must have happened with the program. Dashing downstairs, she ran to the computer and was just about to sit down when the doorbell rang.
The sound of the front door opening and then mother calling, "Megan, your friends are here."
"Alright." Jeff in Megan's body calls out. "Listen, don't touch anything. I'll try to figure out how to fix this when I get home. Okay?"
Jeff grabbed Megan and said, "You may have my memories, but I still know I who am. Please don't screw this up!"
"Alright," Megan snapped. "You don't have to be a whiny twerp."
Dashing toward the front door, Megan grabbed her coat and purse and said a quick goodbye to her mother and then dashed out the door with her friends.
