Amber is really confused. First Iiumni said that he had a hurt paw… but all the sudden he acts as if it wasn’t hurt at all. Then he begin to complain that Amber shouldn’t be a malamute but a husky and they talk about that she’s close to joining the team. Her mind seems to be unable to think properly. She notices that it’s difficult to stand and she looks down at her furry body. She doesn’t seem to be able to make up her mind if her body should be this way or not. She pulls her fore paws close to her face and examines them. “Why do I have paws? I’m human, humans have hands…” She says to Keula. “Yes, humans have hands. But you have paws, and dogs have paws don’t they?” Keula answers. Amber shakes her head. “No I’m human, not a dog…” She says even though she begins to doubt it. “No, you’re a beautiful malamute bitch. Look at yourself, Amber! Isn’t your body that of a dog?” Amber begins to look at herself. Her body sure looks like that of a malamute and she even has a tail and humans don’t have tails. “I think you’re right… I’m a malamute bitch” Keula begin to wag his tail. “It is good that you have realized that, now you can join us in our team song” Keula raises his muzzle towards the sky and lets out a long howl. Just a few seconds later the rest of the team joins him in the song. Amber begins to feel very lonely, she also wants to be part of the team spirit. So soon she lifts up her short muzzle towards the sky and begins to howl. At first it doesn’t sound very good, because of her muzzle, but that soon changes as her muzzle grows longer. As her muzzle lengthens her legs begins to get wobbly as changes quickens. She loses balance as her legs have become the hind legs of a malamute. As her forepaws hit the ground the last changes occur and her howl becomes a very beautiful dog howl as she sits down with her muzzle still raised towards the sky. Amber is now a large black and white malamute. The other dogs stop their howling and listen to Amber’s beautiful solo and as it ends Keula says. “That was just beautiful, Amber. Welcome to the team!” Amber stands up on all fours and begins to say hallo to her new team mates. She doesn’t have any memory of Amber the human, only the team member Amber the malamute…
