Meanwhile, a mysterious program is beginning its life on the Internet. It's got an innocent enough name, Morph-U-Ware, but its power is more than any could believe.
The program has the unique ability to use any photo and improve the subjects within it. It can be used on older photographs to affect people in the past and thus, change the present form. The controls are easy. Like Adobe Photo-shop, the owner of the program can select, cut, crop, stretch, rotate, and in general, do any normal photo manipulation. But there are more tabs. More option that can affect a person's habits, personality and physical being in more than just visually.
The engineer who built the program, intended that all the traits of a person be manipulatable, not just what the picture showed. So, the program can extract a three-dimensional replica, and allow the user easier access to a subject. Inside the drop down menus, the user can add any feature or attribute to the selected subject.
More importantly, the user can select the method of change, the duration of change, and whether or not the world or the individual even realize the change! In the wrong hands, it's a fantastically dangerous program. In the right hands, it can bring about a Golden Age for humankind. Thankfully, the engineer ensured it would go to neither of those people. Instead, a rather interesting group stumbled upon it. The engineer smiled, as it began its first download.

Scott saw the sign "ROOM FOR LET" and smiled. He'd found it, without getting lost, during his first trip to London. His on-line friend had invited to host him during his long course work while in England, and Scott enjoyed the prospect of meeting the guy he'd gotten to know so well. Scott stepped up and rung the door bell.
Scott gulped as his friend opened the door. Doug stood a handsome 5'11" tall and looked like a model for punk bears. His grey beard grew down a couple of inches, but didn't cover up the various piercings that decorated his face. Scott relaxed, smiled, and stuck out his hand. "Hi Doug, I'm Scott! Glad to meet you" Scott said.
Doug smiled and pulled Scott close, "Welcome, boi, come on in"
Scott entered the home and smelled the aroma of pipe tobacco. Doug and Scott had met online, discussing a variety of things, including bears and pipes. Gradually their relationship had blossomed into a deep friendship. Earlier in the spring, Scott's company had asked him to take a year course in London, and Scott had leaped at the chance, knowing he'd be able to see his friend.
Doug nodded, watching Scott walk in. Doug appreciated Scott's 5'7" chubby stature, and even more, Doug enjoyed the intellectual companionship Scott offered. Most blokes in London judged only on looks, and given Doug's very colourful appearance, they wrote Doug off. Scott didn't. He was sweet, charming, and very open-minded, a welcome relief from the local dorks.
Scott got settled in, and Doug left him to nap, catching up on the jet-lag. Doug returned to his computer, finding the site he had visited had refreshed finally. It had downloaded a new program for him ... Morph-U-Ware.
