After wandering through the warehouse for over an hour, picking up a trinket here, a costume there, you realize how tired you are. Flopping down on a chair next to a row of changing cubicles, you decide to take the weight off your feet for a while. The store is amazing, but you can't help wondering why there's no one else here. Perhaps it isn't even meant to be open, and some careless shop worker just forgot to lock the door when they left for the day.
Absorbed in your thoughts, you pick up a pack of chewing gum that someone has left on the arm of the chair, and flip it open. It's old-fashioned gum, in sticks rather than tablets, but rather than being wrapped in plain silver paper, each one has its own color. Without thinking, you slide out a stick of gum and slip it in your mouth.
