After spending a few minutes just sitting around, you hear the ground behind you shaking apart, dirt and rock sinking away to reform that passage into the planet's bowels. You get ready to climb in, unenthusiastic about the alternatives, but something is odd about this new tunnel, something that makes it clearly different from the prior one. Then again, it's not like you have a whole lot of options, so you jump in anyways.
Like the previous tunnels, this one is dimly lit by its ambient walls. However, unlike the last hole you fell into, the walls here are a proper dirt-colored brown, and the tunnels themselves look and feel somehow less complex than those from before. You wander further in, and that feeling is only strengthened, the many offshoot tunnels branching off from what is apparently the main one being rather small and dead-ending at decently sized "rooms", like burrows.
Now curious as to what you might find at the end of this hole, you walk on towards the depths of this surprisingly deep hole. Coming ever closer to the center of the place, and to answering the mystery of who inhabits it, you begin to hear the thumping of footsteps. Silently, you rush further down the tunnel, eventually reaching a large dome-like room. Inside stands a group of what could only be described as rubber rabbit people, each of them half-walking, half-bounding about, pressing some sludge that they've stockpiled in a corner against the walls of the room to give them the same ambient glow as the rest of the tunnels. Perhaps strangest of all is the clearly human clothing that they wear, and that serves as a rather mundane element to this bizarre display. You'd say that they're all adults, judging by their size, and two are likely male given their outfits (made up of jeans and dark, tattered T-shirts), while a third looks to be a female, judging by her skirt. Of course, you can only go by their clothing, and if you didn't have that as an indicator you'd likely just assume that they were all female thanks to their flamboyantly bright pink coloring.
You continue to watch them as they work, fascinated by their very existence. Whether they're the product of whatever led to the wolf and ants from earlier or something else entirely, they're quite incredible, and unlike anything you've ever seen. You're so mesmerized by the sight of them that you don't notice yourself slowly leaving the cover of the tunnel you're standing in and moving into their sight. It comes as quite a surprise then, when the female one spots you, letting out a sort of high growl to alert the others. The three come together, their furious red eyes focused on you, and without a moment's notice the trio lunges towards you.
