Jenny slumped down onto her pillow and almost burst into tears. Her one chance to turn back and it had been taken from her. Eventually she was broken out of her sulk by her alarm clock telling her it was 7:00. Slowly she got up and dragged herself downstairs. She could feel her tail twitch with every step and as she walked she realised just how quiet she was now that she was forced to walk in a constant tiptoe. Her long soft ears flopped down in her dejected mood but conveniently fell at an angle so they did not get into her eyes,
When she reached the bottom of the stairs she found Emily sat at the table and Martha setting up The Chair. For some reason Emily seemed disappointed for some reason, almost as if she had been waiting for something but it had never happened....
That aside, Emily and Martha were having the same old argument, in a way.
"Emily" said Martha, "You must have your breakfast. I know you're conscious about your weight but you're a growing girl and must get food into you."
"But..." started Emily
"No buts" said Martha
"I would rather Bunny gave me something" said Emily, looking at her sister's breasts. It seemed that Emily's name for Jenny had changed, or she now had two.
"Sorry" said Martha, "But you know the rules. Normal food for breakfast, no milk."
Emily just looked even more disappointed.
"Sometimes I wish it wasn't so much trouble looking after both of you" said Martha.
This otherwise normal statement sent a shiver of both hope and dread at the same time down Jenny's spine.
