As Elle trotted into the pig sty with the other sows, she noticed that they all stood up on their hind legs and smiled at her. It wasn't rude or mean in any way, but rather welcoming and pleasant.
"Welcome to the rest of your life, honey," one sow said, helping her stand up. "How do ya feel?"
She's shocked for a moment that she's being spoken to by a pig, but then she remembered - they're humanoid pigs, part pig, part person - and that they've retained some human traits.
"Um..." Elle utters, testing out her vocal chords. Her voice sounds different, scratchy. "Better than I expected..."
"Yeah, it wasn't so bad, was it? Anyway, I'm Angela, this is Beth, Tipper, Gwen, Meredith, and last but not least, Jacqueline. And you?"
"I'm, uh... Elle," she says, glancing over into the room as Steve steps in with a fairly fat girl who looks only slightly bigger than she and the other pig-girls are now.
"Well, Elle, we'll take good care of you. God, it's been like, forever since we've gotten new ones. This is exciting," Tipper says.
"Heh," Elle chuckles. "Tipper. Isn't that a better name for a cow?"
"What? I don't know why... Oh. Oh! Ha! Yeah, that's a good one!"
"I think you'll fit in just fine here, honey," Angela says with a smile.
