"Well when I first ate here, I was scrawny like the two of you. I had no muscle, I couldn't grow beard or body hair for tht matter. This all happened because of drinking the Anthro-Brew and finished every bite of... the Bearish Man's platter."
Both Ron and Zach's eyes widened, looking Greg up and down, amazed by what he had just told them. Ron thought that this was just a ploy by Greg to get them to buy an expensive meal or something, knowing that there was no way that beer and food could really have that kind of affect on someone. Cautiously though, Ron asked his next question with careful thought, so not to alert the big guy of Ron's awareness to Greg's scheme.
"So... what exactly are we going to be eating in this particular platter?"
Greg looked at Ron with a smile, showing off his sharp looking teeth. "Well, I am glad you asked that as you can see there really isn't any information on the platters. Basically; you get two eggs cooked to order, two sausage links, two strips of maple smoked bacon, an order of hashbrowns, three pancakes made with our special homemade batter, toast and two parsely leaves as a garnish. As an extra addition to the food, you would be getting a large container of our specialty sauce that you get with any of the four platter choices. How does that sound you two?" He finished while looking at both of them a couple times in a very friendly way, not quick nor slow, just enough to pay attention to both their reactions.
In nature, Ron was just not a very trusting person and thought on what food was offered. As Ron kept thinking, Zach sighed rather loudly and just blurted out that he would take an order of the Bearish Man's Platter.
Greg smiled as he looked down while writing up the order, taking in all the details of how everything was to be cooked as well as what kind of toast Zach wanted.
After thinking about it, and rather annoyed by his friend's slightly impatience, Ron rolled his eyes and needed more information before he would make the same hasty decision. "Can you tell me what is in the Wolfish Man's Platter?"
Greg just smiled, then nodded his head while placing his meaty hands on his slightly round stomach, holding the tiny notebook against it. "The Wolfish Man's Platter is the same except for the pancakes. Instead, you get a T-Bone steak cooked to order."
Ron's attention perked slightly, with the mention of the steak that sounded even more appealing than the other platter.
"That sounds really good..."
Greg interrupted. "So then, that is what you will be having?"
"Oh no... if you would let me finish. That sounds really good, but how much is it, because I know for a fact that T-Bones are rather expensive, coming from a background of a butcher's family?
Greg smiled, putting emphasis on his teeth this time, which Ron and Zach noticed was slightly longer while sharper than the first time they saw Greg's teeth. "The Wolfish Man's Platter is only a dollar more than the Bearish Man's Platter. The Bearish Man's Platter is $14.95, so the Wolfish Man's Platter is obviously $15.95!"
Still thinking this bearish man was up to something, Ron thought about it for a while longer, with the steak tempting him. Ron really had to think hard because he knew that this place was giving him a steal for a T-Bone at that price plus all that other food.
