Thinking to herself, "What the hell," Johnny strained to pull the stopper of the top of the vial. With a audible popping noise, she pulled it free. Swishing the contents about, she took a deep breath a drunk the potion.
It tasted absolutely vile and Johnny wanted to gag. But she had no time for that as she became so hot, she felt like she was on fire. Hugging herself, she doubled over in pain and overcome with the dry heaves.
Dropping to her knees, Johnny suddenly realized that it was much darker out, and than she understood why. It wasn't the night getting worse, it was the fact that she was slowly slipping into unconsciousness. Fighting it, trying to remain awake, Johnny only felt the burning sensation grow even worse. Finally, the fight was lost and the last thing she saw was little Erica playing in the dirt, oblivious to what was happening.

She awoke with a start. Lifting her snout to the air, Jenny breathed in the smell of the woods around her. Figuring that it was about eight o'clock, she stood up on two shaky legs, ran her hands through her fur and started calling out, "Erica? Erica, where are you?"
A rustle in the bushes announced her sisters presence and as Erica, a five year old anthropomorphic vixen kit, tot'tled out of the brush dragging two dead fishes, Jenny remembered something of her dream. It was something about her being named Johnny and how some creatures changed her from a boy into a girl. There was also something about her having a brother named Ryan and how something had happened to him involving a green lake. On top of all this, she noted that she was wearing clothes for some reason. But all that was becoming rather fuzzy and taking the fish, she chose to ignore it and ask, "Where's mom and dad?"
Erica, who was now eating her fish, muttered, "Don't know. They were gone when I awoke, but these fish were left for us."
Finishing their meals, the two ran off giggling. Hours later, Erica called out to her sister, "Jenny, come quickly. I found something over here."
Rushing over to were her sister was, she found her looking up at a crystal that was glowing an electric blue. The pole that it was sitting on was about eight feet high and appeared to be carved from a unknown wood. As the two stared at the crystal, it began to steadily grow brighter.
