As Mike stood on the ground in shock, Jeff went to thinking about how to get around this. After a few clicks on the computer, he found he couldn't do the manual override on the shrinking thing, so his dad would be stuck like this until the end of the time limit.
"What's happened to me?!" Cried out Mike, looking up at his gigantic son. Jeff groaned, trying to think of a way to explain...
When he spotted something on the Chronovac's settings. "Mental changes." If he could just switch his dad's mind around so he thought he was always like this, there'd be no need to explain. In a few clicks, he opened the window for the mind-alterations.
One thing in particular also caught his eye; Mental Age. His parents had always treated him like a baby next to his older brothers. Maybe now....
"JEFF!" Mike had pattered over to his son's computer chair, squeaking like a puppy, "What haaaaa...."
As Jeff set the changes into effect, he grinned. Mike's face suddenly reset to a big smile, eyes dancing with innocence. In his mind he could still remember being father to Mike and his brothers, but he had been set to think he was 2-years-old. He would behave accordingly and act more like a baby brother, even with the 39-year of memories in his head. Since he was already the size of a baby, might as well have him act the part...
"Jeff, Jeff, lookit!" The boy looked down with amusement to see his tiny father hopping up and down excitingly, a naughty grin on his face, "Hehe, lookit, my clothes dun fit!"
"Sure don't, do they?" With a smirk, Jeff picked the little man up and started to carry him off, "C'mon, Dad. Let's get you in a diaper, then maybe I'll let you play on the computer some."
