Just as Sly was about to step out of the locker room, a bolt of lightning crashed through the ceiling. It struck him straight in the head and jumped to the note.
Surprisingly, Sly was not in the least bit hurt, but the note was another story altogether. As Sly watched the ashes of the piece of paper float about, he realized something new; he was a character in book being manipulated by outside influences. And those influences wanted him to be somebody's bitch. "But whose?" Sly wondered out loud.
Looking at the ashes, he remembered that he was somebody else before all this happened, but who that was was beyond his grasp. Suddenly, he felt a burning sensation in his hand.
Sly looked down and watched as the paper that contains his License first begins to smolder, then go up in a puff of smoke, singeing his hand. Looking up as he dropped ash all over, he gasped as a the world curved like a concave bubble and then snapped back in place. Along the wall, the worlds, "Inari is tired of the game others play! You have been released, my little Kitsune."
"Yip" was all Sly could say.
Then the world bubbled again and Sly found himself standing in a locker room for the High School. People were now present, but they could not see the writing on the wall. Memories of what just happened still present, knowing that this was a story, Sly wondered what he should do.
"Should I wait for someone to write something?" He questioned out loud. "Or should I decided my own fate, now that I apparently am free? I certainly don't to be someones bitch."
Blinking, he realized that there was a thin film separating him from the rest of the new locker room. Poking his snout forward, he found that he could easily go through it. Looking around, he saw several basketball players getting ready for a game. The only thing out of place was the writing that was still on the wall.
Drawing his face back through the film, he sits down to think this over. In the end, Sly decides that since he is now free, he will.....
