The year is 2042, and this was just one of many ads now being sent out by Gen-Tech, the company that had used radical medical technology to reshape human cosmetics, body modifications, and even gender reassignments. Back in 2015 Gen-Tech was just a small medical plastics company that had just made a huge discovery. The company's main engineers had developed a bio-plastic that could take the form of any tissue, skin, or muscle the human body, or any other animal could produce. The applications were limitless, and they went into production rather quickly.
Unfortunately for Gen-Tech in 2018, their main rival, BioTech Ind, developed a re-growth process that could re-grow anything the human body lost. This one finding put almost every single prosthetics company out of business. Gen-Tech was at it's last when the same engineer who headed their break-through had an idea to keep the company alive. They would mass produce bio-plastic products for costumes and cosmetics.
In 2020, Gen-Tech was reborn as the world's largest producer of "Non-Permanent Self Enhancements". The idea was, if a woman wanted a larger bust, she could just buy one and wear it when ever she wanted. If someone wanted to change their face without surgery, they could buy the face they wanted. And with break throughs in reshaping technology, the modifications became limitless. If a 48yr old woman wanted to look like a 15yr old dog boy, all she would have to do is buy the necessary pieces. As time went on, the additions became more than life like, and Gen-Tech released a special series for "Permanent Self Enhancements". With this new release, cosmetic surgery was a thing of the past. A new nose could be bought at Gen-Tech's retail stores, applied on at home, and become permanent within a day.
Now Gen-Tech has stores across the globe, for anyone to come in and create for themselves a "new you" as they called it. The stores were simply set-up for less confusion. The left side of the store was "Human Parts". This contained every imaginable body part in every shape, size, and color, along with full body suits in the back. The center of the store was "Animal Parts". This contained every animal part from a wide host of animals, and also had full body suits. However, due to demand and storage, some animal parts would have to be put on order. And finally, the right side was "Other Parts". This section contained all sorts of random parts and pieces from things branching from Sci-fi to Fantasy to Horror and finally to the just plain weird.
With so many choices to choose from, the company had set-up computers at the front in which a customer could design their "new self" before they shopped. Now, with yet another store open, it was just a matter of time before it would get it's first customer...
