At this point, I begin to feel contractions. I yell at my sweet Carlito, "I es going to give birth to our bebes!"
"Just stay in the pigpen, mi gordita mamacita. You will know what to do." He says in reply.
Momentarily, I want to yell at Carlito for just leaving me in the mud. But I quickly realize that I have no right to disobey. Taking Carlito's advise, I knew I should lie on my side in the mud. After I rolled onto my right side, my body moved on it's own accord. My left leg lifted up. I then started pushing my bebes out. I thought briefly that a woman does not give birth this way. I reminded myself that I am a pig woman. Does this make me a sow?
Soon, I see my first bebe, a cute little piglet. That is followed by a second and a third piglet. I let out a howl of joy. Was that a squeal? I cannot stop to think about that, I am not done giving birth. With more pushing, a few more piglets emerge. I think there are six bebes lying there but I am having a hard time counting.
My bebes must be hungry. I must feed them. But how can I feed them all, I only have two dugs. Looking down, I see I have more than I thought. I can feed my bebes! I howl with joy again. I think that was an other squeal but I cannot dwell on that, I have to feed my bebes. I push myself over so that mt teats are next to my bebes. I then use my nose to point each piglet toward an empty teat and licked them clean.
After each of my bebes are sucking at a teat, I collapse into the mud. I am tired but oh so happy that I have become what I was made to be, a mother. Looking around, I finally see Carlito. I smile with pride at him. My sweet Carlito starts laughing. "Aren't you proud of our bebes!" I say. Or at least I tried to say. I was squealing.
"Calm down, Round Rita, mi gordita mamacita!"
I stopped squealing.
Carlito continued, "Take a look around you, mi gordita mamacita. When you became a girl, you acted like a whore; a slave to your animal desire. When you were given to me, your piggish nature was shown in your fat body. When you got here, you rolled around in the pig sty. And you were dumb enough to think I desired to as my wife. Mi gordita mamacita, you are now what you were meant to be, a fat sow nursing her litter. Are you happy now? I know you can still understand me. Squeal once for no and twice for yes."
While he was talking, I lifted my head and looked at myself as best I could. My vision was different. It take me a couple of moments to realize that was because my eyes were now on the sides of my skull. When I looked down the middle of my face, I could see I had a snout. That was when I realized that I could smell so much more than I could before. The near by trough smelt of food. I was hungry but my first duty was to my bebes. I had four legs ending with trotters sticking out of my bloated body. I had bristles growing out of the skin I could see. I felt flies landing near my eyes. Because I no longer had the arms and hands needed to shoo them away, I shook my head. I could feel my ears flap with the motion. I had to believe sweet Carlito, I was now a sow.
It would seem that I should be upset. I was not to be Carlito's wife. I was no longer human. But while tired, I was content lying on my side in the mud. And I was happy that my bebes were feeding from my teats. In fact, I could think of nothing to make me more happy. This was what El Dio placed me here for. I squealed twice.
"Good!" he laughed. "You will give birth to many more litters over the decades, mi gordita mamacita."
As my sweet owner walked away, he said, "Relax, Round Rita. Later today I will be back with a vet to check on you and the bebes."
As he walked away, I lifted my head to look upon my bebes. I never felt such love for anything as I did for them. Knowing I would have more left me feeling more blissful.
