Tricia had to admit, she really liked how Samantha looked as a skunk. She remembered her time spent as a cow, and how she felt as if she had become a new kind of beauty. She saw the same new beauty in her friend now.
"We're posing as sisters, right?" Trish said, pushing buttons on the remote. "I think it would be easier for people to swallow if we were both the same species."
The smile on Sam's muzzle was evident as Trish turned the remote on herself and pushed the execute button.
She felt the rush of fur pushing its way out of her skin, and the tickling of her new ears as they grew on her head. Her fingers lost a digit each, but gained black fur and claws. A half-muzzle formed on her face, complete with a black nose and pointy teeth. Finally, her tail shot out from behind her, through a hole that had just formed in the seat of her pants.
She spent a minute examining her own tail and fur. She saw in the mirror that her waist-length hair had become just as white as Sam's. On her own command, however, the remote had given her two black streaks that ran down the center of her hair. This was to distinguish her slightly from Samantha. She ran a paw through her hair and marveled at how soft it was. It felt much like her tail, which she was tempted to try using as a pillow at some point.
"Okay," Samantha said after fully taking in Tricia's elegant new form. "This is definitely weird...but I'm so glad you're in with me on this."
"What are best friends-turned-sisters for?" Trish said, pulling Sam to her side and squeezing tight. "So, where are we off to now?"
