You select Donkey.
There is an instant of blackness, then you see that you are now in a cartoon world.
But you are still you, albeit in cartoon form. You wave your cartoon arms, wiggle your cartoon fingers, look at your cartoon face in a battered mirror. In a strange way, you are disappointed that the promised change has not materialized. You look around and see that you seem to be in some kind of cartoon barroom. There is a mug of beer and a cigar on the edge of a pool table.
You step up and take a good deep swallow of the beer. Cartoon world or not, it is cool and refreshing, and you drink it down quickly. You wipe your mouth with your sleeve, and do not notice that your ears have sprouted suddenly. They have become the tall hairy ears of a donkey.
You take the pool cue in hand and start sinking balls. As you bend over the table for a particularly difficult shot, your pants split open behind you and a full grown donkey tail burst out.
You straighten back up and reach for the cigar. You light it and pull in some of the smoke. The smoke makes you cough, but there is an unfamiliar rasp in your cough, and your voice stops in mid-cough, and your coughing spasm ends in a donkey's bray. "Hey! Did that come out of me?" you wonder.
And then you catch your reflection in the mirror once again, but it is not exactly... you. Oh, it is you, all right. The figure in the mirror patterns your every move. But the face looking back at you is not human; it is the face of a donkey. You yell in shock at the change, and run around the barroom seeking - what? Help? You don't know what.
But as you run, the changes continue, until, at last, the cartoon you has been completely changed into a cartoon donkey wearing the tattered remains of what had been your clothing. In a mindless spasm, you kick out and shatter the mirror, but it makes no difference. You are now a cartoon donkey in a cartoon world. You calm down and await what happens next. What had the man said? You get to roleplay in this cartoon world. So, what can a donkey do in this cartoon world?
