Promptly at 9:00 PM the package arrived. Bob was expecting some sort of delivery van with Steve and was looking expectantly down his driveway (hidden from view though, not wanting to attract curious strangers). Glancing back into the room for the time, he saw the digital clock change from 8:59 to 9:00. Looking back out, he was startled to see a young man with a small package on his doorstep waiting expectantly.
Bob opened the door and the man said,"Greetings, I'm Steve. We spoke on the phone." Producing a clipboard with a form he added, "Please sign here for your cure. However, before you sign, I must tell you that we were able to come up with a potion against all odds that may help your young daughter. It will not cure her, but will restore most of her intellect. She would no longer be just a nanny and her core self will be saved. It will also allow her to be human parts of the time. However, there are several catches. Even in her human form, she will still crave her brother, and in fact need him to be satisfied. The longer she is without him, the more she will want him and she will slowly revert to her goat form. Also, if she has sex with others, as she will as this is an instict of a goat we cannot get rid of, she will infect them with a hybrid mutigen. Unfortunately, this is a more serious mutigen than the original and will slowly change the victim into a human female and then into a goat. This will not happen to her brother, however. Now, is this something that you'd be interested in Bob?"
Bob was trying to pay attention, but he was having difficulty. To think that this might be the best possible future for his family was horrifying. But he nodded and asked how much.
"Oh, lets say another five grand. That should be more than a fair price for your daughter, right Bob?"
Bob could only nod as he thought of his once lovely and beautiful girl and signed. He hoped he was making the right choice.
"Wonderful, Bob, I'm glad we could be of service and please feel free to call us again. Take this blue potion and drink it, then give this purple one to your daughter. You should see results fairly soon after ingestion."
Bob looked down and took the package. Once he had a grip on it, he looked up, but Steve had disappeared as mysteriously as he came. Bob hated this magic crap and quickly went back inside to try and fix some of the problems it had created.
