37 hidden cameras watch you as you hop back to the giant talking kangaroo, verifying that your transformation induces heavy mind control as well. Behind the one-way mirror glass, a handful of scientists, doctors, and veterinarians watch you as you change. They all take individual notes in their books, while they watch the scene unfold.
“Make a note of the time when he stopped and turned back to her,” snapped the head scientist, a balding man in large glasses closest to the nearby provided microphone. He watches as you climb into the pouch to remain until your final humanity is shred.
He presses the red button. “Are you alright in there? Is the joey you adopted still trying to escape?”
“No dear,” you hear the mama roo call out, “It’s perfectly alright, she was just going for a bit of a stroll to think…”
“Thinking’s a dangerous thing from your adoptee, Ms. Roo,” the scientist jokes, “but I guess we can manage it for now.”
He pulls his finger from the button and turned to one of the others. “Prepare a new sample for the test subject as soon as he finishes changing. I want to see if his memories return as we transform him back.”
“This isn’t what our patient ordered, Doctor.” A young nurse whispers in rebuttal.
“It’s not about the patient, nurse. It’s about making sure the product works.”
“But how are we going to get the joey from her now?”
“By tranquilizing her of course. It’s not that difficult, and we’ve done it before without trouble.”
There is a slight pause.
“I want the sample prepared by tomorrow,” he says to the group.
They nodded.
