Bryan looks at the card and laughs, "My lucky day, I get to roll again."
He handed the card around and scooped up the dice. Bryan blew on the dice, shook and rolled them shouting, "Papa needs a new pair of shoes!"
The dice came up two sixes, and his piece began moving of it's own accord twelve spaces. It came to rest on a space marked with a magic lamp and the words beneath it, "YOUR WISH GRANTED. ROLL AGAIN."
"Man, am I lucky, I get to roll again," Bryan said reaching for the dice. He had expected complaints or at least sighs. He looked up, and it appeared that he was alone at the card table. Then the wailing started.
He got up to investigate the sound of a baby crying from the chair opposite him where Mike had been sitting. He bumped the chair where Jenn had been sitting and a new shoe fell off the chair and on to the floor. It had been just the type shoe he had been wanting to buy, but the price was too high. He picked it up and examined it, it was a right shoe just his size. The baby wailed again. He walked over to Mike's chair and there lying on it was a screaming baby in a diaper. It looked up at Bryan and stopped crying.
Reaching up with its arms the baby called, "Pa-pa!"
Instinctively, Bryan reached and carefully picked up the baby while still holding the new shoe. Out of curiousity it looked into the chair where Allison had been. It contained the left version of the new shoe still in Bryan's hands.
Bryan sat down in Mike's empty chair holding the baby in one arm, and the two shoes in his other hand. He muttered, "I'm a papa with a new pair of shoes."
"And you have one more roll of the dice to make," said a new voice. It seemed to have come from the game board. Bryan leaned forward.
