Just then, almost as if a wish was granted, you feel a strange sensation in your hands. You pull your face out of the pillow and notice your fingernails are slowly transforming into claws. A light amount of hair is growing on your hands. You can't believe your eyes.
Suddenly, you double over in pain, contorting on your bed.
This can't be happening! This can't be happening, you think to yourself.
There's a shooting pain in your mouth. You gasp and run over to your bedroom mirror. You're shocked at the sight. Your human teeth are growing into fangs. You also notice that hair is starting to grow not only all over your body, but your face as well and it's getting thicker by the minute. Your eyes have changed from their usual blue to a dazzling, deep yellow.
Your heart is racing, no longer minding the pain because it's clear what is happening to you. You find this to be the most exciting thing that has ever happened to you.
You sit down on the floor of your room and watch as the changes happen. You look at your arms, your chest, your legs, all covered in a mix of gray and black fur. You watch as your feet stretch out and become more wolf like. Your hands are still your hands, but your palm resembles more of a paw pad.
Feeling a pain in you backside, you roll over onto your stomach and feel your tail push out.
Suddenly, your head is racked with the most intense, aching pain you have ever felt. You clench your eyes shut as you feel your face push out into a muzzle, feeling the fangs in your mouth re-arrange. As quickly as it started, it's over.
You slowly open your eyes. It still doesn't quite feel real. Something you have wanted so badly, for so long has actually happened. You run your hands over your body, feeling your dense, coarse fur. It's real all right. Your heart is still racing from the absolute thrill of it all.
You slowly pull yourself up, stumbling at first. It's going to take some getting used to, walking on these new legs. You look in the mirror, hunkering down a bit since your taller in your new form. It takes a moment to realize the new wolfish form staring back at you really is you.
You let out a long, joyful howl and dive out your open bedroom window and run across the yard into the woods behind your house.
