You have known Nick for most of your life, ever since you were in grade school together. It wasn't until you admitting to being into furries that you really bonded. While Nick wasn't into Furries, he was very much into werewolves and had often fantisized about turning into one, which he admitted to shortly after you had mentioned being into Furries. You know you can trust him with what you had to tell him.
You reach over and turn off the radio.
"Nick, I need to tell you something. Something important," you say, slightly nervous.
"Sure, buddy. What's up?"
"Remember last month, when I got bit and blacked out while working at the Animal Shelter?" you ask.
"Sure, I do. That was pretty freaky. Why are you bringing that up?" he asks, alternating looking at you and the road.
"Because last night I turned into a werewolf," you spit out all at once.
Nick turns to look at you. "What? You have to be kidding me..."
You shake your head no, then look up to see the car has drifted over to oncoming traffic and you're about to crash into a bus.
"NICK!"
"What?" he shifts his glance to the Bus.
"Whoa!" he exclaims and he quickly turns back into the right lane.
Nick makes a quick right and pulls the car into the school parking lot and parks the car in the first empty spot he finds. Nick turns to you.
"You're not lying, are you?" he asks.
"Nope," you reply.
"What's it like?" he asks.
"It's great. It's amazing, really. Your senses heighten, you get stronger, faster. It's incredible. The changing hurts though," you say, with a smile on your face.
"And knowing what I know about the both of us, I take it this is not an unwelcome development..."
"Nope."
"Change me. Bite me and turn me into a werewolf too!" Nick blurts out. If he had been trying to remain calm before, it was gone now.
"What?" you ask.
"I've always wanted to be a werewolf! Our houses are only a block from one another! We share the same woods. Could you imagine me and you running through there, both as werewolves?" he replies.
You have to admit, you find the idea thrilling. Yes, that would make this even better.
"Okay, meet me at my house tonight. I'll try changing again, and then I'll bite you. It took about a month before I change, so I don't know if it'll happen tonight for you..." you say.
"Oh, I hope it does," he says. He was visibly excited at the prospect.
The thought of the two of you running through the woods as werewolves was enough to get the both of you excited. You had to admit, you couldn't wait either.
