There are several gorrillas at the enclosure, doing things like swinging on tires, grooming or just lying around.
In a different part of the enclosure is the star attraction of the primate section according to the info boards; A 600lb female called Qween Kwonga.
Kwonga is huge, fat and very sad looking. "What's wrong with her?" you ask one of the female zookeepers.
"She's very lonely." she replies "She's pining for a mate, but doesn't like the other gorrillas. Would you like to come in and meet her?"
You're rather shocked at this "Isn't that dangerous?"
"Don't worry sir, Kwonga's as gentle as a kitten. We've let visitors in for a few months without any incidents. She seems to like the attention. Our other apes are safe too.
