As I continued talking with Christine I sensed she was hiding something. Something big.
As we talked about the Bermuda Triangle I tried probing her mind telepathically and got a shock.
"You're a DRAGON!!" I gasped out loud.
"Very clever of you to notice, human." said Christine "We are both dragons, and have been hiding in human shape for 5 years. Promise you won't expose us, please? We just want a quiet life."
"I understand" I replied "You're my client, human or otherwise"
"My story is still true, apart from the fact that my mate flew by himself, not by plane. He was on his way to visit a secret dragon temple. I don't know if his cover's been blown or not. Please help us."
"Of course I'll help you." I replied "But can I see your true form first?"
"First draw all the blinds and turn off the lights". I did so, and after telling us to stand back Christine turned to light which grew to the shape of a dragon, filling the office. She was huge and purple and very cramped.
After a few seconds, she returned to her human self.
"What happened to your clothes when you changed?" I asked
"I stored them in my magic necklace." replied Christine.
