The Magic Shop

The Fight

added by Aluminum I-pod 15 years ago O

You quickly jump right out of the way from the beam. It nearly misses you. Now you’re hiding behind a cash register, right next to a frightened employee, who is looking at you with even more scared eyes. She grabs a pan that was in a bag that assumedly someone was originally going to buy before this started, and whacked you in the head.

You run away as she continues to whack from her hidden position and land out in the open, in view of Alex. He looks at you and tries to hit you again, but you quickly jump behind shelves.

“This is crazy!” you shout to your sister, “How am I supposed to stop him? He’s my brother! I’m not going to hurt him!”

“Grow some backbone, will you?” shouted Christy. “Come on Stitch, don’t be afraid to hurt him! It’s not like he’ll feel it.”

“Please stop calling me that! Let me think.”

“Look out!”

You look up to find Alex staring down at you, ready to zap again.

“Shit.”

You dodge away, him barely missing you. Quickly you climb the shelves, in awe at how easy you were doing it, but also trying so hard not to get hit with all of the beams Alex was trying to hit you with.

After so long of being chased back and forth throughout the supermarket, you decide enough is enough. You hide in the ice chest and give yourself some time to think while Alex still goes around the store looking for you.

“Think, come on, think,” you say to yourself. “How do I stop him; what does Stitch know?”

You begin to try and reach in your memory to see if you can find something about the character that could be used to your advantage. You can’t see Alex, so you don’t know when it’s safe to go out. And then, you remember Stitch having some kind of x-ray vision. Now, how to activate it? You try to think of the vision, grasp it in your mind. After concentrating so hard, you activate it, and now you see through the ice chest!

“Where are you,” you say.

Then, you see him. He’s coming your way, but does not know where you are. He’s right in front of the ice chest. You stand with a strong grip on the ice bags, almost crunching the ice as you clench with your feet. You ready yourself for a leap when he turns away from you. When he does, you imagine the vision to return to normal and then push the door open and jump right on top of him.

Both of you wrestle on the floor for a very long time. You try to make sure that your brother does not hit you with the beam, but it is very difficult to also try and stop him.

“I don’t know what to do Christy!” You shout. “How do I stop him?”

She appears from the isles. “Subdue him or something!” she shouts.

She’s crazy. You’re not going to hurt your brother in the slightest.

But the moment that thought came, he slipped out of your grasp and got ready to hit you with a beam.

Quickly, with fear of becoming a baby, you run as he shoots, each time only inches away from you. With quick thinking, you jump and break through one of the supermarket’s windows and out onto the concrete. You get up and your brother follows you out.

You think this is the end, and that you’ll be a baby version of Stitch. But then, your brother turns in another direction and starts attacking other people. Then, he flies into the night sky for another place to attack.

You sigh. At least you didn’t have to hurt him. But then Christy comes out, looking mad.

“You let him get away!” she shouts.

“Sorry,” you say, “but what did you expect me to do?”

She gets mad, but does nothing. Then, she says, “Forget it. We’re going home.” She walks to the hover car and hops on. “Come on, let’s go.”

“So that’s it?” you ask. “Are we done? Will you turn us all back to normal?”

“Get in the hover car!” she shouts, and you do so.

She flies you home. Once outside the house, you were about to head into the door, but she stops you.

“Wait,” she says. She gets her trusty remote and presses random buttons on it, then aims at the house. Something comes out of the top of the house, creating another room dome shaped. “Now it looks like in the cartoon.”

You agree nervously, and then you both head inside. There was an elevator to go up to the new room, and once there, you find two beds. One very comfortable one and one not so comfortable next to the window.

“You’re lucky,” said Christy. “You get the window.”

“Lucky me,” you grunt.

“I’m going to shower,” said Christy. “You don’t have to; you’re Stitch.”

She leaves the room. Not wanting to make her angry if you do anything, you get onto your window bed and look out. You got a good view of the neighborhood, but that’s all. At least you have a blanket. With it, you curl yourself up and try to fall asleep.
