Zack, the wolf captain, spent his time buttering up Dr. Graves by acting as a wolf should.
Eating raw meat, slobbering, guzzling water.
Telling the other wolf troops what it was to be a wolf. Fighting, blood. Campaigning with Graves to head the wolves (be ALPHA - WOLF) in the new order, when and if it came (and Zack sincerely hoped it never would).
Showing off his skills by punching a punching bag - which swung across the room. A medicine ball he could throw through the wall.
All this scared Linda, although her hairy beau shaved his face, and tried to look humanly representable whenever he saw her.
He reassured her - this was best.
One day, he came in for his nightly rape - so Dr. Graves thought.
He was holding the punching bag.
"What's in it?" asked Linda.
"Gold bricks," said Zack.
Linda tried to grab it. Zack had to save them from dropping to the floor.
"Super-strength," he said. "Comes with being a wolf."
Linda looked at him.
"I know," he groaned (or, rather growled). "I called myself a wolf - but you know, this stops now. Tonight, we escape."
