Mike and Sie laid there for it seemed like hours. The succubi had drained them so badly they barely had the energy to move. Finaly, pitting his will again his now withered body, Mike began to roll over.
"Sie, help me." Mike gasped. "We've gotta do something."
"What?"
"Use the book again. Help me up."
Mike finally managed to sit up. He felt so tired, but it didn't look like anyone would be in to rescue them, so he would have try to use the book again. Gritting his teeth, he put his legs under him and tried to get to his knees. He felt himself begin to topple over, but then he felt hands on his sides. Sie was sweating with the effort, but he was holding Mike steady.
Mike reached up and felt a wave of dizziness. His hand flopped down, landing on the book. Summoning his will, he grabbed the book, and pulled it onto the ground. Mike and Sie sollapsed next to it. But Mike was smiling.
Pulling the book to him, he looked at the page and read it again. He felt energy pour back into him, as his body firmed and grew younger. His skin lost its whitish shade, and his hair thickened and grew darker.
In a matter of minutes, he was back to normal. "Oh, thank God!" he said.
