Sonya took the collar off, just to be safe. Just to be really safe, she put it a location she was sure she could find in a weeks time. While Derek had started to transform into a Chihuahua she had second thoughts and worked the collar so it turned him into a bitch.
"They are always easier to handle," she told herself as Derek, now Daisy, ran outside.
A week later, she went looking for the collar, something that wasn't easy with Daisy in the way. Sonya turned the house upside down and then put it back together, but still couldn't find the collar.
"Maybe the owner of the shop can help me," she thought.
Arriving at the store were they'd originally purchased the collar, she was distraught to see a sign on the door, 'Closed until further notice'.
Upset, she returned home. Daisy greeted her by licking her face, bouncing about and yipping loudly. Hugging Daisy to her, she made a promise that all would turn out okay in the end and Derek could use the collar on her anyway he wanted.
"I try back later," Sonya told herself as she went to prepare dinner for her and Daisy.

Seasons passed and the years flew by. Before Sonya realized it, seven years had gone by. She'd tried back at the store two times a day and then one time a day. She did this until, dishearted that the owner would never return, she only checked once a week, if even that.
Daisy showed no signs that she could remember ever being human and seemed content to live life as a Chihuahua. Then it happened.
It was about three weeks after Daisy had given birth to her third litter and Sonya was driving home from the vet. She almost missed it, but slammed on her breaks when she saw the sign on the shop read that they were open.
Ignoring the honking from behind her, she pulled into the lot, parked her car and headed in.
The shop had more products then last time and it looked like it was more then just for dogs. She could see stuff for cats, mice, hamsters, birds, fish and even lizards and turtles.
From behind her came the familiar voice telling her, "Welcome back. How has the collar worked for you two."
Sonya turned and greeted the man and told him, "Honestly, I sort of lost it a week after we bought it."
"I'm sorry to hear that," the man replied. "Can I interest you in something else then. I just got back from my travels and I have a whole selection of new items."
Sonya shook her head and explained the problem with Derek and how he was trapped as Chihuahua. "So you see, I need to know if there is something I can use to return her to his human form," she said, finishing up her story.
The man looked thoughtful and started to pace about. Finally he explained, "The only way Derek can ever to return to his previous form is for you to use the collar. However, there is another way for him to regain his human form, but you might not like the option."
"What is it," Sonya asked, a hint of trepidation creeping into her voice.
The man walked over to a display and took a piece of clothing down. Holding it out to Sonya he explained, "This allows an dog to become a human, roughly about eight years. With your Derek's situation, he will become human, however he will be eight and a female. He will have no memories except those of being a dog. There is a high chance she might regress to the age of two, but that is a one in a million chance of it happening."
Sonya looked at the dog clothes presented before her, weighing the choices. "Should I use this on Daisy or should I continue to look until I find the collar, something I haven't seen in seven years," she asked herself.
